Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Sharddha Jimmy Patel (trading as Maruti Technologies) for using HypeMe. By signing up you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

Who can use HypeMe

You must be 18 or older and in India. One account per person. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we suspend it.

Be kind — the rules

Don’t send or post anything that:

• harasses, bullies, threatens or intimidates anyone;
• is hateful, sexual, obscene or violent;
• encourages self-harm;
• shares someone’s private information, or tries to unmask an anonymous sender;
• impersonates anyone, or is otherwise unlawful under Indian law.

Every message passes an automated safety check before delivery, but no filter is perfect. Use Block and Report on anything that slips through. We can remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

Anonymity

Recipients don’t see who sent a message. We keep that information to deal with abuse and may disclose it when Indian law requires. Anonymity is not a licence to break these rules.

Hints

Hints are optional paid clues about a sender, available only when the sender chose to allow them, and only the clues they agreed to. They never reveal a name, number or full handle. Hint packs are one-time purchases; nothing renews automatically. See our Refund Policy.

Your content

You own what you write. You give us permission to store, display and deliver it so HypeMe works, and to share it only as these terms and our Privacy Policy describe.

Ending your account

You can delete your account any time from Account. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms or the law.

Liability

HypeMe is provided as is. To the extent Indian law allows, we’re not liable for content other users send, or for indirect losses from using HypeMe.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat have jurisdiction. Complaints go to our Grievance Officer first — see Contact.
